Dark Mirror is what happens when Clint Blomker, Marco Battaglia, Jeremy
Hall, Blitz Creagan, and Alonso Donoso get rowdy. Dark Mirror has a
burning desire to create new sounds inspired by the past greats of heavy
metal and rock n roll! Four working class dudes originally from
different cities in Iowa, and one all the way from Chile, Dark Mirror is
a group of like-minded musicians who joined forces to shake the
foundations of the industry and remind the world of what 5 people
pouring their hearts and souls out live can do!
The crowd is equally as
important as the group on stage, since we feed off of their energy, we
transmute it and send it back in waves of face-melting, gut-pounding,
soul-soaring awesomeness. We are them and they are us.
Dark Mirror cares deeply about the live show, the fans, live recording,
the bands they work with, and art! Dark Mirror was conceived when Marco
Battaglia heard Blind Guardian being blasted over the college radio
station at the University of Northern Iowa where he and Alonso Donoso
both hosted radio shows. He went to check out who was playing the good
tunes, they got to chatting about music and the rest was history.
Dark Mirror was formed officially a week later at a Joey Belladonna
concert in St. Paul, Minnesota, in the wake of the death of Dimebag
Darrell, the emotions that were involved sealed the deal, as he was a
childhood hero whom they shared.

Since 2005 Dark Mirror has completed
four releases, two full length albums, and crawled up from the deepest
darkest pit of the underground (the garage, the basement), whatever you
want to call it, cutting their teeth and banging heads over hundreds of
shows, sharing stages with bands like: UFO, Megadeth,Exodus, Ross the
Boss, Overkill, 3 Inches of Blood, Into Eternity, Kittie,Warbringer,
Devine Heresy, Bounded By Blood, After Forever, Leaves Eyes, and
countless other thrashing and bashing bands. Instead of jumping on every
trend that comes a long Dark Mirror has been digging deep down and
pouring out the music that has always come from within forging songs
that have been called things like "power-thrash” and "the new wave of
American heavy metal”, by reviewers and fans throughout the globe.
"If you were not able to see any of the NWOBHM bands or bay area thrash
bands in their early days, you owe it to yourself to catch a Dark Mirror
show!" Randy, of The Metal Show with Randy and Ace
While Dark Mirror embraces the term heavy metal and proudly waves its
banner high, they have a deep appreciation for the history of music and
the roots of rock n roll; they look to the future with a respect for the
past. Dark Mirror is currently promoting their new release Portrait of
Evil(Early 2010), planning a summer 2010 tour, and always working on new
material. They love to play anywhere and everywhere and are planning to
take their live show to fans who want to hear it around the world.
