Crawler was born from an idea of Claudio Cesari (voice), Giovanni Martiniello (bass guitar) and Lucio Cassani (guitar) that, joined in the same passion for hard rock and classic metal, decide to start this musical project. This idea carries out with the entrance of guitar player, Renato Fecit and the drummer, Nicola Martiniello. The Band begins to be appearing in live events and performs a repertory of classic covers of the most famous heavy metal bands, like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Monowar , and many others.



First time thanks Giovanni's idea in composition, the Band begins to think the writing of own songs. In 2004 the guitar player Lucio Cassani was forced out the activity with the Crawlers for the reason of business commitments. So, in this time, Rudy Gonella Diaza has docked into the Band. In the spring of 2005 Crawlers decide to make concrete our own work with the record of the demo "Undeads", containing first two songs of the Band. The Band printed a few copies of this work but published it on their MySpace profile. On MySpace "Undeads" obtained an unexpected success: after a year and a half from its opening, the MySpace page of Crawler was visited by more than 74000 users and has more than 22000 friends.



In the summer of 2007 Rudy decided to leave the Crawler for engaging in a his parallel project and the Band put to find a new guitarist. At the same time Crawler starts recording the new EP "Burst", but the recording session is interrupted until the Band is not comlete. In September 2007 the band finally finds its guitarist, Alessandro Brusaferri with which resumes the concerts. At April 2008 is out "Burst" that is printed in a good number of copies. Now the Crawlers are continuing the exhibitions in live pubs and the song's writing...so, the rest of the history they have writed.
