Lightning struck the ground. The air swelled and crested through the trees. In a blinding fury of nature and God, Miles Beyond was born! The gods that sat on high descended into the snow covered forest. They sought the company of Paul Owsinski and Tim Moody. Together, they said to them, "Lo, thou art the prodigal children that shall return Metal and her followers to glory. Form from like minded souls a band of power and glory, so that all may hear our splendor." So it was commanded from on high, and so it was done. Tim did pick up his axe, as did noble Paul, and together they formed a band and together the four warriors of Metal terrorized the unjust and the wretched that lost their ways in hypocrisy. Metal shall be returned to glory and their weapons of steel shall lead the way!

Miles Beyond was formed through the creative, prodigal progressive musical talent of Paul Owsinski and given shape through the wise, learned, and divinely inspired talent of Tim Moody. Together, these two warriors of steel form the deadliest duo the guitar world has ever known. With the aid of Larry Moody, Tim's brother, it is quite apparent that it is a family trait as his hardcore, inspired bass provides the back-bone and attitude that does indeed set Miles Beyond, miles beyond. The three metal warriors heard the sound of thunder from on high, they looked to Tod Fisher, pounding on his drums like a mighty hammer crushing the spineless weaklings that play false metal. At last the band was complete.

Miles Beyond broke out unto the live performance field with their first real hardcore single, Still Strong. It embodied everything the group believed in and what they were trying to do. Breathe life back into a dying community.

Inspired by more divine commands the band continues to impress in their performances with their newest set of singles, Take Me Back Home, Miles Beyond, and Tales of Old. These three songs embody the doctrine by which the band lives. The attitudes, the styles, and the emotions are genuine and righteous. They are hungry to spread the word of their doctrines into the hearts of metal fans across the world and have the tenacity and capacity to do it.
